Spell Check labeling footnoted words as misspelled
Is there a way to stop spell check from identifying words with superscript footnote letters as misspelled? I am creating documents with extensive footnotes.
OpenOffice 4.1.6 on Windows 10

Are you inserting the footnote with the menu item Insert -> Footnote/Endnote? When I do that, even if the footnote indicator is a letter, it is not flagged by the spell check.
