[Solved] Looking for web page/html template

Post by ajac63 »

Apologies if this has been covered before... Is there a web page or html template plugin or add-on for Writer. Thanks for any help and advice on this.

General view is that OpenOffice does not generate good HTML code, so all advice is to use a different HTML code generator.

OK, thanks for the info, and apologies for late reply, only I've had Net connection probs... I've thought of using dedicated html generators but some of them cost a bit, so was hoping that I could use OOffice itself for creating html/web pages. Issues I've found though is that saving an .odt doc to html tends to shove everything to the left when viewed in a browser and most formatting is lost. But thanks again.

You mean default OOffice writer template? OK, I'll try that. Thank you. :)
