Envelope printing

I am trying to print a 5.75" x 4.375" (exact size) envelope under the "User Defined" dropdown. An error message reads:
The paper size detected by the printer sensor does not match the paper size selected in software.
If the paper loaded in the printer is the correct size, change the selected paper size in your software and re-send the print job.
If the paper loaded in the printer is not the correct size, change paper and resend the print job."
I have tried several variations of position and size adjustment, but no luck. The envelope ejects manually so it is feeding correctly, just not printing. HELP?

Have you set the paper size in the printer using the Options Properties button in /File /Print?

On closer inspection I have Apache Open Office 4.1.1
Maybe your verion shows a different screen?
I have tried a few other things: I put more than one envelope in the printer tray (done this three times) and it appears to be working now. The sensor must not be able to read it correctly with only one enevelope, I believe problem is solved. Thank you so much for you eagerness to help May God Bless you and Ireland!
