[Solved] Default Font color

Post by Powderdog »

In Format > Character > Font color, Writer always defaults to “automatic” and prints in black. Is there any way to make it default to a different color, like “Gray 8?

Change the colour in Font effects in the Default Paragraph Style (and other paragraph styles) in your default template.

In trying to follow your instructions, I eventually found that, years ago I had printed all the chapters of the Writer Guide, bound them up, put them on the bookshelf and forgot about them. Now I re-discovered them and found my way to Chapter 10, "Working With Templates". Wow ! This is some hot stuff! This is going to be more fun than filling out a tax return! I gotta git a bag of Cheetos, grow some pimples on my face and get going on this! I could become a computer person! LOL
