Copy contents of pdf file to clip board
I'm sure that, a while back, I discovered a way to copy a pdf file and save it as an odt file. You can't just copy and paste. If you copy the contents of a pdf file and then try to paste into a Writer file, you get nothing. I'm pretty sure I posted the method in this forum. Now I can't remember how to do it.

Open the pdf file with a pdf reader. You should be able to copy the text and paste it in Writer.

Re: copy contents of pdf file to clip board
Copying from a PDF file can be dependant on the permissions set by the PDF file author. It varies from PDF file to PDF file. I have just selected text in a PDF opened in Atril viewer, copied it, and pasted successfully into Writer.
