Converting odt extension to pdf

Postby shark » Tue May 28, 2019 7:28 pm

Hello troups. We are trying to send a novel to the copyright office. They only receive certain file extensions. Want to convert our novel to pdf, but not certain how to do. Any suggestions? Thanks

You are probably opening the PDF file in OpenOffice. WRONG! You should use a dedicated PDF vewer such as Adobe Reader which I am sure is installed on a Vista computer.

Sorry to bother. You are talking to an ignoramous sic. My system is Windows 10 and I do not know how to view the file. I am assuming that from the odt extension it goes to gibberish and is reconverted to my novel at the other end. Am I close

To read an PDF file download from this site: https://get.adobe.com/reader/ then you can read a PDF file without it coming out as gibberish.
