Adding a graphic to a Writer document leaves an excessive space, not correctable using the Picture>wrap dialog. An example page is attached. Please tell me how to correct the excessive space.

You have adjusted the indent of the TEXT manually (on the ruler). Reset it, and use the Styles instead of the manual formatting.

This is a known issue - see [Issue] Check for Updates feature fails The latest version of AOO is 4.1.64.1.7 which you can download from http://www.openoffice.org/download/
