[Solved] View help

Post by spy46 »

So I had to recover a file, not a big problem, but the recovered view is stuck in ...... book view? 2 pages side by side.
How do I change the view so that its a single page at a time?

Make sure the menu View -> Status Bar is selected. Along the bottom of the Writer window near the right side there are three small icons representing three different page configurations. Select the leftmost one that shows a single page.

wow that was easy, i was searching all over the menu options looking for something that would be related.
Question, why does it switch like that when recovering a file?

The view should not change due to a document recovery. It is easy to click those icons accidentally or it could just be unexplained computer weirdness.
