Writer opens with margins huge and fonts screwed up

When I open Writer, the margins are huge and the fonts are all wrong. It is so screwed up I don't even know how to describe it. I had and older version and I uploaded 4.1.6 but that didn't change anything. I captured a screen print but I can't attach it. The "Browse..." doesn't work.

Check View | Zoom or look at the slider in the right of the status bar at the bottom of your Writer window.

As robleyd says: try 100% in the % box in bottom right corner to start with.
