Hello!

I'm wondering if there is a way of doing this - to make the background picture independent of page margins. That when I change the page margins, it doesn't affect the the position of the background picture?

Search the forum - there are numerous posts about it. Also search using watermark.

In addition, make sure that you're adding page background not paragraph background.
Also, ink jet printers have a physical limitation independent from the page margins because they can not print to the very end of the page.
