I want to sort the table frequently and of course during a sort, do select all columns etcetera within the table . Command A (or Ctrl A on pc) does not work.
It seems to have to be done manually (click and drag). Wonder if there is any shortcuts?
(The reason for wanting to select all is to maintain content across the cells)....
I am in the "Text" / Wordprocessor application doing this.

Click top left corner of the table.

No.... That will finally create a problem since the order within cells across would be lost during a sort. All the cells must be chosen otherwise the context is lost....... I am in the Text application doing this. I should have specified, will do it now !

Clicking outside the top left corner of any table selects all cells in the table. Don't click inside the top left cell.
