[Solved] OpenOffice internal clipboard/prompt

Post by idgraham »

Hallo, everyone.
The subject line shows the problem - I'm not sure what to actually call this feature/function, and that makes it hard to search for help.
I'm talking about the memory / completion prompt which comes up in e.g. Writer and Calc, based on memory of something the user has previously entered or typed.
I have auto-complete turned off, but this doesn't affect it.
How can I control it, please, whether edit or turn off ?

Many thanks

For Calc - disable Tools | Cell Content | AutoInput
See also [Tutorial] Automatic functions in Writer - enable / disable

Thank you.
There's an awful lot of verbiage, but Tool>Autocorrect options, and then unchecking all tick boxes in Options and Localised Options seems to have cleared it.
Fingers crossed.
