Moving between columns in a frame

Post by Bethwoo »

Hi all, first time poster hoping you can help.

I’m using a frame with two columns and can’t seem to move between the columns.
I have to use it to set up a price list for a course I’m doing and it has to be done this way, otherwise I’d use a table

I want to do it with descriptions on the left column and a price in the right column but I can’t seem to move between them.
Only way I can do it is entering down the first column til it moves to the second but it doesn’t line up properly and looks messy.
Really grateful for any help.

/Insert /Manual Break : Column break will do what you want, but you will have to fill your first column, then break (as outlined) and align your second column items either by setting spacings above/below items or by padding with empty lines. A table is far far better.

If you must use a frame, why not insert a table in it instead of columns? You can do this, you just have to fiddle with the frame - deselect it to insert the table.

Great idea! Yes I have to use the frame for some reason, there’s a specific criteria I have to work to but this should work. Many thanks!
