[Solved] How do I delete last page or last page number?

I would like to publish a book but i can't figure out how to get the page number off the last blank page. I would also be happy to just delete the last page. Whichever. Please??

Turn on View | Non-printing Characters and see if there is one or more empty paragraphs (shown by a Pilcrow ¶) at the end of your document, forcing a new page.

What do you see on the last page if you select the menu View -> Nonprinting Characters. Is there anything other than a single paragraph mark (¶)? What happens if you click next to the paragraph mark and press backspace?
