Merge only insets one record into Writer file

I can mail merge only 1 record that I highlight.

If I select multiple records and then go to print, select the records, print to file, it crashes and the next screen that is up said crashed and time for recovery of documents.

I downloaded a document from this website http://www.civillawselfhelpcenter.org/s ... -violation

copied and pasted to open office and tried to do a mail merge via the spreadsheet and creating the data base, it crashed each time.

The downloadable documents are in the old, obsolete binary .doc format or fillabble/nonfillable .pdf format on the linked page. Which one have you tried?

Note there is not (never was and never will be) 100% compatibility between the fileformats.
You can try the LibreOffice: it has a littlebit higher compatibility with the foreigng, and/or obsolete file formats.

I can open the .doc type documents of the site - after downloading it - without any problem with my LibreOffice 6.1.1. I have not tried the mail merge function on these documents.
