[Solved] Changing color of selected text (Mac OS)

Post by mcputnam »

From [Solved] Color of "selected text", that doesn't work in my case.

When I select text in Oo (say, by double-clicking on it) it is shown with this baby blue overlay. Unfortunately, I can barely see it.

Can I change that color to bright yellow? I am assuming this will also change the selections of the "find" function, which I can't barely see either.

thanks so much in advance for any support!

Mac OS 10.13.6 - High Sierra
Oo version: 4.1.5

Hey there, friend!

Take a look at this.
I don't primarily use Mac, but I believe what you're dealing with is a system issue, rather than an OO issue. You should be able to change the overlay colour with this.
Try it, report back if this doesn't help.

For others wondering - the System Preferences > General > Highlight Color solution was also stated to be the solution in the last post of the topic you said 'didn't work' for you.
