So I wrote short book in Open Office that has a lot of end notes. This is what it looks like in Open Office
But when I upload it onto Kindle and preview the book. It looks absolutely terrible.
I also tried saving the file as .odt and then using calibre to export it as an EPUB file and the result is still the same. What on earth am I doing wrong here?

Re: Endnotes Get Formatted Terribly In Kindle
Does Kindle read Open Document Format files natively, or are they converted to some other format? If converted, perhaps the conversion process is not doing the right thing?
Cheers

We don't know what you want by way of formatting - "absolutely terrible" is very subjective; the final formatting is a function of the conversion mechanism, not of OpenOffice.
