Format help

Hello, i am a beginner on open office writer. I need help with formatting into an ebook. I've been trying to do this myself with the help of youtube but i need some more help. Right now there are little dots on my page after i clicked the backwards. I thought about typing the whole 4 thousand words over again but i said there has to be help in Open Office Writer. Please someone anyone please contact me. I will greatly appreciate it. Thank you

Try repeated presses of Ctrl Z, or /Edit /Undo.
