Having trouble centering text

Hi,

I am writing a long form sales page for a client (I'm on a tight deadline) and while I've been able to center the majority of my subheadings, there is one subheading I'm unable to center without moving the text below it as well. Here's the text...

[subhead] Learn Exactly How I Went From Zero Clients To Making Over $1500 Every Week...In Just Under 8 Months!

With all the free information online, I bet you're wondering what makes my program so unique...

“Lilian, can't I just grab a mop, some cleaning rags, a couple bottles of spray and get started?”

I have tried centering just the subhead for the last hour, but can't figure it out.

If anyone can help me figure this out, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Upload a small document file (eg .odt) showing the problem so that it can be analysed. Use the Upload attachment tab below where you type (128 kB max) or use a file share site for a larger file.

Hint: centering is a paragraph property. If you select one line and center it and the line below it also becomes centered, then both lines are in the same paragraph.

Without an actual document we don't know what you've actually done, so I may be completely wrong.

You have used line breaks (Shift-Enter) exclusively in your document, instead of paragraphs (Enter). Use View | Nonprinting characters to see.

¶ (paragraph marker) - ↲ (new line or line break)

You might find the Writer guide, which John-Ha linked above, a useful reference for getting the best out of Writer.
