Cookbook Template

I am in the process of writing a cookbook. I downloaded the Cookbook Template. I'm new to using Open Office and I'm at a loss as to how to use the template. Can someone help with instructions or point me in the right direction? Thank you so much.

The quick, simple, way is to double click on the cookbook template. OpenOffice Writer will open a new file based on the template. /File /Save the file with a name, such as MyCookbook.odt. Use .odt format and start to write.
