[Solved] Footnote formatting Question

Post by EinarFlydal »

I am working with a text with more than 200 footnotes. The space between the numbers and the text becomes zero. could anyone tell me how to adjust the distance between the footnote number and the text in the Footnote style?

Would be very much appreciated!

Please upload your ODF type sample file here. Then we will able to examine the applied settings of the Paragraph styles and the List styles in your document. The file size limit is 128 KiB in this forum.

Try: increase the Indent Before text value and decrease the Indent First line to the same extent in the Footnote style.

It seems the default value for Before text is 0.50cm and First line is -.050 - so perhaps try 1.0cm and -1.0cm respectively. Experiment with the values until you like what you see.
