Global preferences

Post by rhennessy@nyc.rr.com »

I would like to make some global preferences that apply to all created documents.
A specific font, size, bold type.
Printing preferences.........print in draft quality, print documents last page to first.

Is there a template to customize? How do I make those changes apply to each document I create.

Thanks in advance

You need to customise your default template: details are in
[Tutorial] Creating a new default template

Then you need to apply that template to existing documents

I have made changes to my default template. I would like to add one more instruction.
Can I add page numbers to the bottom of each new document I create?

Open Office 4.1.5 and Windows 10

Open your template via menu:File>Templates>Edit... and add a page number field to the page footer.
Please, edit this topic's initial post and add "[Solved]" to the subject line if your problem has been solved.
