[Solved] Format error in the file sub-document content.xml

Post by Ergodyne »

Hello,

I've seen multiple topics on this matter and I hope I can get too a fix on my file... The error I get is located on 2,4323 (col, row).
Can someone please help me fix my document? I need it urgently and would really appreciate to not have to rewrite it entirely..

Many thanks

I recovered 7 pages. Is that the expected number?
Edit: Document removed per the OP's request.

Likewise I found 7 pages.

For future peace of mind, consider installing and using Timestamped backup

This is a bug in AOO, but not in LO, when track changes is ON and a user deletes two comments each of which is attached to a range of characters.

See Issue 128356 - Track Changes and Annotations on text range can cause corruption. Applies to 4.x (all versions?)
LO 6.4.4.2, Windows 10 Home 64 bit

See the Writer Guide, the Writer FAQ, the Writer Tutorials and Writer for students.

Remember: Always save your Writer files as .odt files. - see here for the many reasons why.
