[Solved+Issue] Exporting em dashes to PDF

Post by warrenstone »

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help.

As you can see from the attachment, em dashes appear normal in my document, but when I export to PDF with the font embedded (Bembo Std) the em dashes appear smaller and there's a space after them. Anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?

Thank you.

I think that is an artifact from the font encoding - I found a similar problem with some other fonts in a test just now. I suggest you look for some other download of Bembo Std. It may be that different encodings will not all show the problem.

It may be related to the particular font you're using. See the comments in the bug report:

Thanks! I found a workaround in the comments there - print to PDF. The emdashes have come through correctly in that.
