Page numbering

I have difficulty with page numbering. I change the style of the first page for example and it changes the style of the following page. I know you can change the style at the bottom. But it seems quite complicated. I have spent quite a lot of time fiddling but I still have difficulties.

Note that each time your header or footer content changes you _MUST_ use a different page style.
