This is driving me crazy. Using an up to date Open Office to save a three-panel document as a word-doc, I lose all the double line, colored border frames placed around each of the three images.
Nothing else goes ways just the borders.
Basic, simple, help would be much appreciated as my 1947 brain has some misfiring synopses and my PTSD keeps increasing.

Never save as word.doc. There is no technical reason to do so.

Re: Borders around images disappear once doc is saved
The native file formats of the Apache OpenOffice and the LibreOffice are the international standard ODF fileformats.save a three-panel document as a word-doc, I lose all the double line, colored border frames placed around each of the three images.
The native file formats of the MSO are the doc, docx, ... etc. The old, obsolete binary .doc format never was standardized.
Every office suite can work best in its own native fileformats. And there is not (never was and never will be) 100% compatibility between the different file formats.
