[Solved] Styles and Formatting Dropdown Box Disappeared

The Styles and Formatting drop down menu disappeared from the standard toolbar, and I don't see any option to restore it. I'm looking for the one that looks similar to the Font Name drop down box.

Look at /View /Toolbars and make sure Formatting toolbar is checked.

It is checked, but the Styles and Formatting drop down menu has disappeared (not the button, but the menu that is similar to the font name menu). Thanks for speedy reply.

Try /View /Toolbars /Customise (at bottom of the menu) and check that Formatting in selected in the Toolbar dropdown and then that there is a checkmark against "Styles and Formatting"

I reset the defaults for the Formatting toolbar, and the drop down menu reappeared next to the Styles and Formatting button, so I guess the issue is resolved.

There is no Styles and Formatting drop down menu on any toolbar.

I think you may mean the Apply Style drop down box. That should be on the Formatting toolbar, not the Standard toolbar.

Yes, that's correct, I had the name of the drop down menu incorrect, and on the Formatting toolbar, not the standard. But when I selected Apply Style button on the formatting toolbar, a button appeared instead of the drop down menu, so I couldn't restore the menu. In any case, I reset the defaults on that toolbar and now I have it back. Thanks for speedy responses.
