If your file is large, use a file sharing site such as Mediafire and post the link here. I've removed your email address to prevent you getting a load of unwanted emails, aka spam.

I sent taleigh a PM and got a copy of the document via email. It had one repeated tag, an Annotation with a zillion ones in the name.

Sounds like this issue yet again and probably involved MS Word.

The OP said she began editing with MS Word and switched to OpenOffice.

This is a bug in AOO, but not in LO, when track changes is ON and a user deletes two comments each of which is attached to a range of characters.

See Issue 128356 - Track Changes and Annotations on text range can cause corruption. Applies to 4.x (all versions?)
LO 6.4.4.2, Windows 10 Home 64 bit

See the Writer Guide, the Writer FAQ, the Writer Tutorials and Writer for students.

Remember: Always save your Writer files as .odt files. - see here for the many reasons why.
