[Solved] Adjusting OpenOffice Writer window monitor

Post by AnalogueMan »

Hello, an OpenOffice first timer here.
I have just installed OpenOffice in stead of LibreOffice and I am facing problems with adjusting the Writers window when I launch it.
After launching Writer its window always starts at some "minimum" size. Have searched how to get it launched with its window size
almost fitting my monitor but failed.
Can someone help me here?
Thanks in advance.

Start OpenOffice Startcentre - the screen that allows you choose Writer, Calc, Draw etc. Size it by pulling the corners, then close it. It will remember its size and all OO applications will start at that size.

That's it!
Writer starts up with the desired window size.
Thanks a lot. :)
