Not accepting MS Word password

I have tried to open my password folder and Openoffice will not accept the password that I have used for many years?? How can I get into my master PW folder ???
Openoffice 4.1.5 on windows 10

Install https://libreoffice.org/ if you are talking about a password protected Word document.
