[Solved] trouble recovering document

Post by conceptjane »

when i try to open it inopen office like usual it is saying "file odt. is corrupt and therefore cannot be opened. open office can try to repair the file. the corruption could be a result of document manipulation or structural damage due to recent transmission. we reccomend you do not trust the content of the repaired document. should open office open this file?" when i click yes it returns a blank document. the documents file says it still has data on there
i am desperately in need! please help me save 2 days of work

If you have an original copy of the document - that is before not saved after you told AOO to repair it - upload it and someone may attempt to repair it.

[Forum] How to attach a document here Note maximum file size is 128K. If your file is larger, use a file sharing site such as Mediafire.

I'm not sure how much I've managed to recover - seems to be 17 pages of notes? Anyway, attached.

Technical bit: the zip file (the .odt) itself was damaged, used zip -FF to repair it.
