How to activate and deactivate a cell with a checkbox

Post by Holyraven »

Hey everyone!

First off, I am very new to all of this.
I am working with OpenOffice Writer. Windows 7.
I was making an ease of access Character sheet for a friend. DnD stuffs.
I have Row 1 (B2) editable and row 2 Protected with an eqaution (=(<B2>-10.5)/2 round) I need row 4 to add to Row 1. I was going to use a Check box so that Row 4 could be added when checked and not added when Unchecked.
Is there a way to do this?

Thank you very much!
Example.odt
This is what it looks like ATM. The Rows are labeled 1-4

It seems as a Calc application related task. In my opinion it is much easier to achieve in the Calc cells.

Thanks for taking time to respond!
I would prefer to do it in Writer. However, not fully opposed to using Calc.
How would I accomplish this in Calc?
