High Contrast -- invisible lines and black on black

Post by whirlingdust »

Hi, I'm using the theme in Windows 8 - High contrast No. 2, and in general the Open Office looks good, but just not Notes.

Problem # 1: black text on the black background of the inserted note window, this can be manually changed for one window through the Format-Symbols option.
Problem# 2: I did not find how to change the color of the dotted line defining the note's target, by default it's white.

The colour of the Notes background and its positioning line is automatically set by Writer's internal coding; either tweak your theme or try logging on as a different user - the assigned colours for notes vary from User to User. They are auto-assigned and vary depending which User's note is near the cursor position on re-opening a file, so they are not consistent from session to session.
Edit: The notes colour will repeat after nine users. This remarks are made with respect to "normal" themes; how they will apply to high contrast themes I cannot say.
