Hi,
It's my first post and its not a happy one!
Just finished editing a huge document, saved it then remembered I'd missed something and tried to re-open it. I was greeted with
FORMAT ERROR IN THE FILE IN THE SUB DOCUMENT CONTENT.XML AT 2,3412
I don't know what this means! I am code illiterate but I do know I can't open my file and am on the verge of a breakdown!
HELP PLEASE!!
I tried to upload the file but it's too big to send as an attachment. I have read the guides on other threads but I don't understand them at all.

Re: Help! Format Error in the file in the sub document ...
You need to post the document somewhere so people here can access it. You can use Dropbox or Google Drive or a file sharing site like MediaFire.
OpenOffice 4.1 on Windows 10 and Linux Mint

Question: Are you using Apache OpenOffice or Libre Office? Please tell us to see where this error came from, and please update your signature.
Try https://www.dropbox.com/s/8zggh4gg4bgs0 ... d.odt?dl=0 - your file had a "standard repeated attribute" error.
If this solves the problem, please view your first post in this thread and click the Edit button (top right in the post) and add [Solved] in front of the subject.
