[Solved] Fractions not centered

Post by TAB »

In BadFrad.odt, the first line is good. The short terms (a2, 1, r) are correctly centered in the fractions.
Not so in the 2nd line (r, 5, a2, 6, Eq). Why?
Yes, I could specify alignc (as in the 2nd fraction), but that should not be necessary.

change
alignl -> alignc
(left) - > (center)
At the begin of the formula. Or use the 'alignc' for all of the parts of the fractions (for the denominators and for numerators too)

Please, edit the initial post in the topic: add the word [Solved] at the beginning of the subject line - if your problem has been solved.

What eludes me is the reason for using alignl in the first place. Remove that from the beginning of the formula in question, and all looks good to me, using all default settings.

Yeah! TY.
This alignl was useful in a previous version of the formula, which included a newline.
And I forgot to remove it. In-fact, I did not even notice it!
