How to "link" citation to source in OpenOffice Writer?

Hello everyone!
I'm quite new to this program, and I would like to ask a question about it. I'm sorry for any spelling mistakes or uncomprehensible sentences. English is not my native language.
So, first of all I started to write my dissertation. And when writing it, I have to make citations at every statement. Like this for example:
"Earth is the 3rd planet from the Sun [35]."
And the source of the 35th citation is at the of the document called bibliography. This is where I put all my sources. Like this:
[34] something
[35] http://wikipedia.org./Solarsystem/somet ... xy/example
[36] etc.
My question is: Can I link the citations to the source at the bibliography in a way, that if I change the number of the source at the bibliography, then all the citations in the document change to the number in the bibliography?
Thank you for your answer.
For example: I want to change number 35 to 42. I change it in the bibliography like this:
[42] http://wikipedia.org./Solarsystem/somet ... xy/example
And consecvently all the citations in the document turn to 42.
Is this possible?
