[Solved] Deleting the second page when creating a document

I make greeting cards and I only want one sheet ...how do I stop the second page at the bottom. I have tried adjusting the ruler and the margin set but they keep popping up. I do not like printing a blank sheet before the document I want

I am useing oo text document and I have moved the margins to the right to print the verses on the inside of the card. I have one verse at the top and the second about 6.5 on the sheet. When I have finished putting in the text a second page will be at the bottom. When I print, it will send a plain sheet first then print the document. I then cut the paper in half and I have two cards with the verses in the inside of the card. I have tried adjusting the ruler but this ruler does not work like the one on word. I have put the bottom margin setting on 0. The text does not go to the bottom of the sheet, it usually is 4-7 lines from the 6.5 setting.
