Hi there, I had a quick question about table formatting.
I have a page (not a table) formatted into two columns; is there a way I can make a table that ignores this formatting so that it extends across both columns rather than being constrained to one?

Re: How to stretch the table across formatted columns
For that page do not use columns on the page style definition and use a different Page Style to the body of your document. Insert the table. If you need columns on that page after the Table, /Insert /Section with columns defined in it.

Re: How to stretch the table across formatted columns
You should use different sections before and after the table, each with columns defined. It might be netter to use sections for your columns throughout the document, particularly if you have other tables, rather than defining your columns on the page styles.

A text frame will span columns nicely, so you can insert a frame, then insert your table in the frame.
