Why can't writer just number 1 to X with the same format?

Post by CalypsoArt »

Why can't writer just number 1 to X with the same format? I faced this before and never really solved it. When numbering Writer changes the formatting at 10. I think it has something to do with the position option. How do I switch this off?!

When setting up the numbering, use a large tab stop after the number to allow for the extra digit(s).

You can either adjust the tab width (on the "Position" tab) or change the tab-style spacing to just a simpple space after the numbers (on the "Options" tab).
