I have mirrored pages, with both sides using two columns per page.
I need to insert a graphic in the left column of page 2. The graphic will only fill the top half of that column (so the bottom half will be empty). I can hit cntl+shift+enter to insert a column break, thus forcing the text to the right column of page 2, but when I do that I lose the justified alignment at the bottom of page 1.
How do I insert that column break WITHOUT losing that justified alignment on the previous page?
I hope I've explained that clearly. If not, I can try to clarify specific points.
Thanks in advance

Re: Maintain justified alignment while skipping a column
If you insert a break in the last line, it doesn't justify because it often doesn't look very good.
There should be an option in the Alignment tab of the Paragraph [style] properties, if you check the Justify setting, you've the choice for the Last line.
See: Formatting paragraphs.
