Hi!
I entered "===" as a way of separating sections of a document, which automatically switched to ruled lines when I pressed Enter at the end. Convenient enough so far, only now it inserts a new line every time I press Enter. How do I deactivate this function? I can't seem to find it in the various menus.
I'm using Open Office 4.1.3 on Windows 10.

In Writer select /Format /Autocorrect /Autocorrect options : select Options tab and uncheck "Apply Border" in the [T] column. Alternately, if you get the continuous line, immediately press Ctrl Z to undo the autoformat,

Thank you!
I continued working after posting this - do you know if there's a way of removing them other than ctrl+z?

Ctrl Z only works if executed immediately the line appears. To remove existing lines, select them and replace with ===, after having disabled the automatic border function.
