How to undock scroll bar navigator

Post by minipower »

I have fumbled around google and the options and customize sections and cannot figure out how to undock/hide the vertical scroll bars navigator.

If you want to un-dock the navigator window, just click on the blue navigation icon.

If you want to hide the actual scrollbar, Tools | Options | OpenOffice Writer | View and uncheck Vertical Scrollbar

Thank you robleyd
I'll figure why I didn't receive a reply email notification

Ya.. I should have said hide or remove, instead of undock in the post title

Hiding the actual scrollbar, Tools | Options | OpenOffice Writer | View and uncheck Vertical Scroll bar - Did get rid of the navigator.
It's going to take some time to get use to not having the vertical scroll bar there as a visual aid to show where I am in the document.

I wish I knew coding and wasn't just a computer abuser lol - Like I always do, I might try to fumble through OpenOffices installation config files to see if I can find something that will allow me to disable that scroll bar navigator and keep the vertical scroll bar, so I won't have to try and handle the shock to my system haha
