Here is link I am inserting:
http://www.perseus.tufts.edu/hopper/tex ... 99.04.0001
...Perseus%3Atext%3A1999.04.0001
After it is inserted, it becomes:
http://www.perseus.tufts.edu/hopper/tex ... 99.04.0001
... Perseus:text:1999.04.0001
Of course, this renders the link useless. When I edit the link it reverts back.
Any ideas?

Re: Hyperlinks change upon insertion
I just copied the hyperlink from the linked page into an AOO Writer document, and it works for me.
(I am using Firefox, and the link was copied from the addfress bar of the Firefox.)
How (and where from) you inserted it?
Try to insert (paste) it as unformatted text.

Re: Hyperlinks change upon insertion
Both work fine for me (xubuntu + AOO 4.1.3 + Firefox).
Is there any need to use the escape character for ":" (%3A is the unicode encoding for ":") in this context?

I was executing the link from a pdf, and I had not tried just opening it as is, but it does work for me also.
So I tried inserting the second link right away and it worked.
The second link was a creation from OO after I pasted it. This whole issue could actually be due to the browser I am using, which is just some obscure Android browser called 'Lightning.'Hagar Delest wrote:Both work fine for me (xubuntu + AOO 4.1.3 + Firefox).

Anyways, it's working now.
