Re: In the compiled OOo4.1, a pop-up window can not turn off
Welcome to the forum.
I cannot reproduce that on my system.
1 Try resetting your profile. The easiest way to do this (Windows 7) is to navigate to C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming\OpenOffice\4\user and rename the folder user to user_old. When you start AOO, it will create a new user profile. When you are happy with the new profile, delete user_old.
2 If that does not work, then try un-installing AOO and re-install it.
If this solves the problem, please edit your original post title to [Solved].

Re: In the compiled OOo4.1, a pop-up window can not turn off
Note that this is in OpenOffice 4.2.0 (evidence from the titlebar of the displayed pop-up), which is still under development and not yet cleared for general release.
| Edit: @qieningde: as this is in the development branch, it would be good if you would log on to Bugzilla and register this error. Details are given in [Tutorial] Reporting bugs or suggestions It is best if you log the bug, as you have the information on compiler switches used. Note that you will need to register for Bugzilla - your existing Forum registration is unknown to it; you can use the same name and password. |

Re: In the compiled OOo4.1, a pop-up window can not turn off
You have downloaded AOO 4.2.0 (by mistake?) which is pre-release and is still under development. Only people wishing to test pre-release versions should download 4.2.0. Please report the bug you have found to the developers so it can be fixed before release. Uninstall 4.2.0. This forum cannot help with 4.2.0.
Download AOO 4.1.1, the current release version, from http://www.openoffice.org/ - it does not have the bug you have found. Install 4.1.1. You do not need to compile AOO - it is provided in executable form.
Please edit your original post title to AOO 4.2 pre-release pop up window and add [Solved] if this has fixed your problem.

Re: In the compiled OOo4.1, a pop-up window can not turn off
Can you please do the following checks and give us the answers to question 1 and question 2.
Go Help > About OpenOffice. Mine shows the following Build and Revision number.
Q1 Is yours the same?
If yours is not the same, create a new user on your PC and download the released AOO 4.1.1 from http://www.openoffice.org/download/index.html and install it for that user only.
Q2 Does this version work OK?
If (Q1) is different, and (Q2) works OK, then it is your compilation which is causing the problem. You are probably missing some flags which pull in some libraries, or it could be that your compiler is different from the compiler used by the developers and the compiler is causing the problem (it might use different flags for example, or it may have errors). We cannot help with user compiled versions of AOO on this forum - you need to raise your problems with those assisting the developers.

My daughter-in-law is from Beijing and I visited Beijing a few years ago.qieningde wrote:I'm Chinese my English is not good, welcome to Beijing.
You can download a fully compiled version of pre-release OpenOffice from https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/dis ... hot+Builds. If that does not have the problem, then it is your compilation causing the problem.
I am sure you know about Google translate which can translate between many languages. This is Google's Chinese Traditional translation of the web page.
