Medical dictionary, line counting program

Post by sassyrainbow »

I just installed OpenOffice 3 to my Windows 7 64 bit computer. I need to be able to access my medical dictionary and my line counting macro to make the OpenOffice to what I need as a medical transcriptionist. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you,
Anne
I just dowloaded OpenOffice 3. My system is Windows 7, 64 bit.

You should use OO 4.1.1 (the latest). OO v 3 is quite old. Will the OO inbuilt Line Numbering not suit you (/Tools/ Line Numbering, check "Show Numbering" on that screen)?
Apache OpenOffice 4.1.15 on Xubuntu 22.04.5 LTS

Thank you for your reply. The line numbering might work. I will have to try it out. My need is to have the lines counted for billing purposes. I do not need the lines numbered in the document. I will try it though. Right now I use abacus line counting program for counting lines in each patient document and for billing.
I will go and download the new version. Thank you for that information.
