I have imported a large test file that resulted in a series of line all ending with a paragraph mark. I know I can search for paragraph marks (\n) but I would also like to use tabs as replacements for two paragraph marks in series. What is the character code for tabs (\t?)?
Thanks for your help.

Re: Search & Replace - Tabs and Paragraph marks
Hi and welcome to the forum!
See [Solved] Find and replace paragraph breaks.
You can try this macro also: Convert ASCII text files by deleting extra paragraph breaks.
And: [Tutorial] How to install a code snippet.
And yes, tab code is \t. Look at the AOO help file for the list of regular expressions with some samples.

I have tried this, but it doesn't work. I keep getting the message: Search key not found!
