Welcome beginner. Please answer all of the questions below which may provide information necessary to answer your question.

Which version of OpenOffice.org are you using? 2.3.1
What Operating System (version) are you using? Vista
What is your question or comment? Is the Clipboard in OpenOffice limited to one item? I'm used to copying numerous items to the Clipboard in Word and then being able to select the one I want to paste from a sidebar. If there is a way to do this in OpenOffice, I haven't found it. Decided to stop driving myself crazy and just ask. Thanks.
Clipboard - Multiple Items??
Re: Clipboard - Multiple Items??
No, OOo is generally limited to one item at a time.
You can make multiple selections in many places in OOo (e.g. selecting three separate words in one sentence), but there are limitations on what you can do with those multiple selections, making them not so useful in my experience.
I'm fairly sure you can get third-party clipboard managers that will handle a history of copied items, but OOo will still only let you paste one at a time.

Thank you very much. Katy
Re: Clipboard - Multiple Items??
The clipboard is a Windows utility, not an OpenOffice utility.
