Help Corrupt File

Post by NYxJon93 »

When I try to open one of my documents I get the ASCII Filter Options then I click ok, and when I opened it in a read copy only I got a bunch of ######. Is there way I can recover the document? I have attached the document.

When I rename your file to *.zip, and try to unpack it, I get an error message : "Error in packaged file"

The file is damaged...

Please, edit the initial post in the topic: add the word [Solved] at the beginning of the subject line - if your problem has been solved.

There's no information in the file to recover, no matter what you do. It's all zeros.

Can you tell us a bit more about the circumstances when you lost the file? Was the comptuer having any problem--crash? power fail? hibernate? Were you using a USB thumb drive or other removable media for the file?

My computer had a power failure when I was working on the document, and when I tried to open it again I found 4 pages of ######.
