I tried looking in the auto correct options, but the setting was not there. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the program but that was fruitless as well. I'm on the edge of my sanity here. Help? TT~TT

Re: .... Quotes on the bottom of a line?
Try Tools - Autocorrect options - Custom quotes tab. Chances are that the opening quotation marks are set to „ - the old-fashioned style for Dutch. Just set something else there to suit your purpose.

Re: .... Quotes on the bottom of a line?
I understood from the post that the trailing quotes were dropped. It might be an incorrect language setting, although I am not aware of any language that has quotes high then low; low then high is not unusual. It would be useful to see a section of the file, which can be uploaded using the settings under the Submit button on the "Post a Reply" screen.

Re: Quotes on the bottom of a line?
... Sorry it took me so long to answer, my internet was down.
Question when you say section of the file, what do you want exactly like a section of text that i have this problem on?
I included a file that I worked on. It seems i have the problems backwards. the beginning quotes are the ones at the
bottom and the ending quotes are the ones that appear at the top. only the two flip... you'll see.

Reread my second. That has it all. You can click on each button with a quotation mark on it, a new dialog box will open, from that you can select the quotation mark you want.

As Floris said you can change existing quotes by his method. To prevent it happening in future, go to Tools / Options / Language Settings / Languages and change
"Default language for documents: Western" into English UK or English anything, from Estonian.
