[Solved] Not able to see pictures and graphics

Can someone help?

I don't know if I am missing an extension of something, but when I embed a calculus sheet into a write document the graphics do not show and the anchor appears. Also when I have documents emailed to me I cannot see the documents through the screen, but they do appear when looking at print preview and even when printed.

Any ideas anyone?

Many thanks

Check Tools > Options >Writer > View and see if Graphics and Objects is not checked in the Display section. You want it checked.

Me too! I've been searching for ages on why it was doing that.

Strangely, my installation didn't used to, but started doing this all of a sudden, perhaps after an Ubuntu upgrade. They must have changed the setting or something? Very irritating - might be for security or something.

On Apples it's called Preferences, and you find it in another menu section.
